The Cooling World was published in Newsweek magazine 28 April 1975. I've found it on the Internet on more than one occasion. Often it is the text, but the original with graphics has been posted as a PDF file too. I searched again and here is one site of many:

Perhaps one day the global warming crowd will achieve the same sense of certainty as did the global cooling crowd of 31 years ago. The best response to this that I've heard, I'm not making this up, "we didn't have SUVs back then."
