Here is one Christian that says "Amen".
fyi
Keep going IDF! I will not be upset!
God is on your side.
TWO!!!
Thanks for the letter...
great letter! one thread from it is of the year 1967, and land for peace. There is no longer any validity whatsoever to land-for-peace. This can never again be used as rationale with Israel having left Gaza 11 months ago and Lebanon 6 years ago, vis-a-vis the provocations from 2 weeks ago from the border at Gaza and Lebanon.
Right! I also don't give a damn about the world opinion. That is why my ancestors came to America and kicked world butt when they messed with us. Keep the faith.
Someone probably should tell the guy that his main ally today is American Christians.
Damn good letter!!
This person has forgotten a lot of what the US has done for Israel. He/she forgets Truman/s work to establish Israel the many Billions we have sent there , and many other things the US has done for Israel over the years.
I do not blame Israel for 911, but I do feel if we hadnt been backing Israel there wouldnt have been a 911.
We have stuck our necks out for Israel many times. We have also stuck our nose in their business too many times, but we dont deserve this letter. Perhaps the author is just a bit depressed and feels we should do more, However we are limitd as to what we can do by our own enemies.
Great letter. Thanks for posting.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Way too board of a brush stroke.
More like Evangelicals Christians are their main ally.
Many mainstream non Evangelicals Christian organizations are rabid Pali supporters.
The author probably does remember the good done in America on Israel's behalf, but they also see the recent history, where Clinton sold them out time after time for his own glorification (and international "peace" laurels). Even Dubya has been pushing toward the "two-state" solution, which I believe can be definitively dismissed as a viable option.
Don't read the letter as a personal attack against the U.S. I read it to be a declaration that Israel will not bow to world opinion and allow a new holocaust.
As for the letter? It is pretty accurate, especially viewed through the lens of world-wide anti-semitism (including some elements in America).
Just my $.02
He writes to the United Nations as a whole.
but I do feel if we hadn't been backing Israel there wouldn't have been a 9/11.
If I was you, I would check my premise. It is quite myopic
Kahane wrote this. I recognized it immediately. I have linked to it many times. Kinda says is all...
The reason most of the world doesn't love you is because you are not victems. Because you stand on your own two feet and fight. The world wants those who whine and moan and that's not in the Jewish character.
It is also the reason America loves you.
