Shep has really toned down though!
ALthough now Shep is interrupting the former ambassador to ask about msulim vs. muslim fighting and Friday prayers. HE's being a bit of a prig.
He sounds hysterical to me.
Only when he's followed Jennifer into (or wound up in) some dangerous situation! LOL! I saw this when it aired hours ago and cracked up that she, in the midst of her explaning about something, would throw in 'outgoing' because she's clearly figured out she has to babysit Shep and keep him calm... He was hiding behind her the other day when there was incoming fire in Haifa :-)
Now if he could try to look his age and throw out the GQ look. He and Al Gore keep trying to find themselves.
