I'm not, I am and you missed my point. There are guys that encourage and build you up and there are guys that put you down and are ashamed of you. I'm blessed. However, as the poster that was ashamed of his wife pointed out, husbandship is an elected position and they can be impeached.

The same thing goes for wives. I've seen more wives put down their husbands in public than the other way around. However, we're having a problem like this right now. We recently moved to a new town and are making some very good friends. One couple are our favorites, I love her and my husband enjoys time with the husband. HOWEVER, this man is so mean to the wife when they're together. I mean, it's gotten very uncomfortable to be around them. I don't even know if he's aware of how his offensive manner towars her makes everyone around them feel. It's gotten to the point I don't want to go out with them as a couple.

As you probably have noticed, I'm not shy in telling people how I feel. I'm seriously considering taking him aside and saying something. My husband doesn't want me to. I feel so sorry for the woman, but she's obviously come to terms with it...I don't know. It makes me sad. In my wildest imagination, I could never imagine being married to a man who would insult and hurt me so much in front of other people.
