This was my fifth trip to Beirut and what happened was stunning to everyone with whom I work, both in Washington, DC and Beirut, contrary to what some Freepers would have you believe.

Well the NGO thing explains everything. All UN certified, right?
Only NGOs would ignore repeated strenuous warnings not to go to a dangerous part of the world and then expect the US Government to charter them a Cruise Ship at taxpayer expense to bail their stupid butts out.
