As in WW-II in the fights for Iwo and Okinawa, control of the air is ultimately going to decide the thing and, this time, you've got technologies nobody had dreamed of in 1945 including aerial drones which can hover indefinitely watching for hizbullites trying to escape northwards. Unless they've got tunnels going north-south all the way back to Syria, the hezzbulls are in deep ####.
Actually, I think willpower will decide the issue (as is normally the case). The Israelis had complete and total air-superiority the first time around, and they still lost.
However, this time, I think they'll be more thorough (at least I hope).
