"When she shows up at Walter Reed to hold a sign or wave HI to a soldier leaving WRAMC I will apologize." Please spare me your lectures about what I need to do to support the troops. I live nowhere near Walter Reed. I am the daughter of a Vietnam War and career AF fighter pilot. I am the wife of a former Air Force officer. I have attended numerous pro-troop rallies in my area. Incidentally, everyone there loved my signs which were positive and devoid of personal attacks. My husband and I purchased 2 nights at a bed and breakfast and a gift certificate to a restaurant to donate to a returning soldier and his wife -- a couple we don't know and have never met. If making personal attacks at the political enemy is what you require as bona fide credentials for support for our troops, I feel sorry for you.
Give up.
You don't know what you are talking about.
And that is painfully obvious when you offer your advice, (as if you are talking to a cub scout pack) on how to deal with traitorous political adversaries who: 1) fund the people who are killing and maiming our troops, 2) fund the American road tour of Baathist apologists who are accusing our troops of being rapists, murderers and war criminals, 3) stalk members of our (US) administration - demonstrating at their homes and trying to get into their homes, 4) stalk and assault people who disagree with their marxist agenda, 5) disrupt public meetings, hearings, conventions, fundraisers, and even the 2005 inauguration, 6) stalk, harrass, browbeat and insult family members of wounded and KIA soldiers...
Now, please go back to knitting pink mufflers with doe-eyed kittens on them, for the misguided, but loveable gals of Code Pink...
