Aloha Big Look!

> Football season's starting up here soon and I'm asking a favor. Send the final scores of Monday Night Football to me Sunday. We'll live like kings.
(big grin!)
> Hope all your local miscreants are subdued and behaving (or leaving).
I wish -- and thanks for your kind thoughts! Sadly, there's scroats, crims and bad-heads aplenty, unfortunately, these days and they are getting thicker on the ground. We've opened a new Chapter of Guardian Angels in South Auckland last June and it is growing very quickly: it is a truly dangerous part of town, where even young kids go around packing armaments: claw hammers, knives, guns, carpenters saws, bats...
Crikey. They're armed to the teeth with no compunction against using weapons for the stupidest of reasons, and not one bit concerned about the consequences of their actions.
Several murders recently: punk kids playing like gangsters, mostly. Still, The Lads and I have been brushing up on our anti-weapons defense training (we're always unarmed).
> Thanks for correcting my spelling of Gidday!
On the contrary: your spelling is perfectly correct when used in Australia (or "West Island", as we call it) and quite acceptable in New Zealand. We talk slower on this side of the Tasman and pronounce everything -- a bit like the Canadians do in your part of the world...
Cheers, mate!
