F-16D is a two seater
Your kidding!! Where on earth does the back seater ride? If I remember correctly the pilot is pretty much painted over the intake!

I didn't fly regularly either but I did get to ride the F-4 a few times and got a couple of really awesome rides in the F15. Those were actual training missions while we were TDY and all they had to take were the two seaters. I lasted about 50 minutes before hitting the bag, followed shortly by the LOX on my face! LOL!

The D model loses an internal fuel cell to accomodate the back seater.

Great for training.

Not so great for combat.

But, external tanks can make up for it.
