In these times, everyone's afraid of getting into political dust-ups at the water cooler.
Do you belong to a USDA-approved ethinc minority? It's practically a crime to argue with such.

When you know (or at least believe) the deck is stacked and the deal is not looking good for you, that tends to cut conversation short.
Egos, particularly liberal egos, are often easily bruised.

Don't you know that it is politically incorrect to talk, view or discuss your opinions about politics if you are a conservative?? The only times a person can discuss politics is when it matches the democrat/liberal way of life.
I drive a truck for a living and live in Central California. I mostly deliver in the SF bay area; Berkeley, Marin, Marin County, San Cruz County, etc.... During the day I listen to Rush and other conservative radio talk show personalities. I have many times been told to turn off my radio when Rush was talking. I laugh and tell the liberal SOB to stick it and sometimes even turn the sound up higher. I've been told that people will call the police to have me turn off my radio. Then I nicely, as hard as it is, explain I AM the police working part time delivering and the cops can't tell me to listen to something else or even turn down my radio. They get all frittered, stamp their feet and walk away cursing under their breaths. I laugh and wonder what my country is coming to when a hard working (if I say so myself) person can't listen to the radio without being threatened.
Has anyone else in FR had this situation happen to them before?? I'd like to hear what happened and how you handled the situation.

That's a FACT. I won't even discuss politics at work.
Not one word.
