The 101st Intel brigade is an all-girl force. They monitor the security fence. The girls joke that the boys don't have the attention span to just watch electronic surveillance equipment all day.

Well, yes and no. They used to be able to, but a couple of incidents (and the fear of kidnap and rape) convinced command to take them off. They can fight under certain circumstances, but I don't think they make front-line troops anymore.
They are combat-trained, however.
One of my Israeli cousins was a treadhead instructor. ;) She always had such enthusiastic students.
