Here is what he's been told now.
He reports tomorrow to sign paperwork and get issued his gear. It is precautionary. He will have to report there every morning. He was told that if Israeli troops mount a ground offensive, they will go to fight.
If we hear more, I'll let you know. We're getting this off of IMs from him in Lebanon.
Hopefully, mobilizing the Lebanese 'Army' for offensive moves against Israel is a bluff...I don't think the generals of this army are pushing for this...I suspect they will form a line in the south some distance away from the Israelis, which the Israeli ground troops will probably honor.
