Katherine Harris spends $2.1 million over past 3 months

Republican Katherine Harris is spending money as fast as anyone in the nation as she runs for U.S. Senate, but she's still playing catch-up.
By dipping into her own fortune, Harris has spent $2.1 million over the past three months on her campaign -- about a million more than she raised.
Polls show she still lags about 30 percentage points behind incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson, who has $12.1 million in contributions.
Harris put big money into early television commercials, beefed up fundraising efforts and has spent more on political consultants as she looks for ways to rebound from the poll numbers.

Ya know, I'll always be thankful for her efforts in 2000, but that doesn't mean that what she's doing now isn't a total waste of time and effort.

Much worse news. She has now acknowledged she has been asked in writing to provide records of her dealings with a certain, very indictable defense contractor.
She claims they are not looking at her, but would not be surprised if she soon received a target letter.
So sad. 2000 was all to her strength and credit. Now.........

No chance... the GOP helped bury her in the beginning and she was never able to recover.I support Harris in the same way I supported Keyes in 2004. You know they're going to lose, but we have to run someone for the Senate and expose people to Republican ideas.

No chance... the GOP helped bury her in the beginning and she was never able to recover. I am really getting sick of that lame excuse. She has yet to win here primary. If she wins then you can complain if the RNC refuses to support her. Until that point she is on her own.

Three I think, but none with any polling stats that show any real challenge. The last poll I saw she was over 50% with the nearest challenger at 14%.
