do you know when Murtha made his first "pull the troops" speech?

November 18, 2005 he said:

"Our troops have become the primary target of the insurgency," Murtha said in a Capitol news conference that left him in tears. Islamic insurgents "are united against U.S. forces, and we have become a catalyst for violence," he said. ". . . It's time to bring them home."
Murtha -- November 18, 2005

However, earlier that same year, he said:

"A premature withdrawal of our troops based on a political timetable could rapidly devolve into a civil war which would leave America’s foreign policy in disarray as countries question not only America’s judgment but also its perseverance."
John Murtha -- early 2005

JUSTA - Between early 2005 and his November speech he must have bumped his head. Wonder if we can bump him back to normal - NAAA, just let Irey win the election. We don't want him back to normal. Hey - thanks for spending the hours in the car to drive in for the FReep.

Kristinn - Thanks for organizing the FReep and being there. You are a master of orator. Also, the AAR is most entertaining.

W04Man - Great signs - thanks for taking the time to make them and be our with the others. PS - better save those signs, we get the chance to use them again before November.

Christopher Lincoln - Great to see you out there. You show up at the BEST opportune times. A little hot, but good timing

JVB - You earned yourself a "good" cigar, but not tonight, next Friday. I'm bring some surprises for my smoking buddies, gals included.
