This guy needs to be put down....TODAY!! The owner of the house is serving in Iraq...I think it was his daughter in law and grandkids that were killed.

A BS defense. Been tried several places. Doesn't work. The main point is that the defendant VOLUNTARILY got drunk.

Well, if he was drunk, he can't be held responsible for his actions.
Right?
To: Suzy Quzy
The owner of the house is serving in Iraq and is due home today. It was his wife, two kids (3 and 5 yrs old) and sister-in-law that were slaughtered in the house.

Alcohol is merely his current excuse. First he was breaking up a fight, now he's in an alcohol blackout. If they prove that's not true, he'll claim something else.

Suspect killed family during alcoholic blackout So just how does one kill people (or do anything for that matter) while blacked out? Does the body's autonomous nervous system kick in?
To: AmericaUnited
"Alcoholic Blackout" usually refers to the loss memory associated with significant alcohol use.
To: Sopater
That must have been one heck of a bender.

This story stinks. You just dont get drunk and find yourself in a strange house. Was he sneaking in on the Sgt's wife? was he a friend of the family? One thing I would bet on. Theres more to this than we have so far.
