For those who don't know, "Codex Alimentarius" is some UN thing that some people think will regulate all drugs, and that it will also declare all vitamins and minerals to be drugs and require a prescription
The "Codex Alimentarius" (Latin meaning Food Code) group is part of the World Trade Organization, a group of countries belonging to the United Nations. Codex Alimentarius is very strong in the European Union, and is being implemented in the US under the WTO agreement.
The Codex Alimentarius is composed of European trade organizations, and the European and American pharmaceutical cartels.
The Codex Alimentarius regulates vitamins and supplements as drugs. Germany is now in full compliance with Codex Alimentarius, France will be within this year and the UK soon after. The US has just begun the process.
In Germany, it is now illegal to sell vitamin supplements in health food stores. Vitamins are now a regulated "drug" and even vitamin C is only available through prescription. When The Codex Alimentarius is implemented here, you will have to get a prescription to buy Vitamin C.

I wonder if you'll have to have a prescription in order to buy an orange. I wonder if the Vegan Taliban would sacrifice their oranges for the "common good".
