I have a dumb question (and I'm not a newbie!) but where does it bump it to?

whenever a new comment is posted, it goes to the top of the FORUM list, assuming you have selected FORUM instead of THREAD. There are alot of different ways to select your personal settings, by choosing FORUM, you see live threads.
