Well I can see the logic about cross border infection of herds. A single case of Hoff and mouth found in a herd can require the entire herd to be destroyed. Having said that this cattle fence has absolutly zero connection to illegal immigration. It was a cheap publicity stunt that cost Simcox very little. As Ladd said, he wonders why his fence is not pictured on the website instead of the Isreali fence but the answer is simple, the Israeli fence at 150 dollars per ft. is the fundraising hook. No one would ever donate to build free ranch fencing to ranchers.

Well in the end even this Garza style fence(which by the way even in the diagram it isn't), looks like it wouldnt take very long to get through anyway. I doesnt work unless you got manned guard post every 100 feet like the Berlin Wall. But your right it would probally keep cattle in. But besides being a horrible eyesore I am not sure what good it would be lol.
