ELIOT Spitzer's campaign for governor has received a major boost from celebri ties like Barbra Streisand ($1,000), George Steinbrenner ($15,000) and Christie Brinkley ($1,250). The Post's Kenneth Lovett reports Spitzer raised a hefty $10.7 million during the past six months, with contributions also from Don Henley ($10,000), Edward Norton ($15,000), Ben Affleck ($1,000), Jets owner Woody Johnson ($10,000), NBA Com missioner David Stern ($5,000), Ivanka Trump ($1,000), Robert (son of George) Soros ($25,000), John Kerry's stepson Chris Heinz ($1,500), Robert Kennedy Jr. ($200), public relations powerhouse How ard Rubenstein ($11,000), and Laurie David, the activ ist wife of "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David ($2,400).

Eliot Spitzer thinks he's gonna be President one day.

I see a common thread and denominator here---like SPRI ZTER, (intentionally mispelled to show my disdain and dislike) there all F'n Libs!
As I recall, Spitzer and Schumer are each convinced that he should be the first Jewish President, and they are not on friendly terms.
I noticed Ivanka Trump but am surprised not to see Donald Trump.
He will definatly donate, his and Spitzers dad are friends who go back years and years.
Its NYS, no one is one good terms with each other.
Hilary went out and personally recruited someone to run in the primary against Spitzer.
That bombed, and the guy is dead weight now, so she gave a half a$$ endorsement to Spitzer.
Chuck and Hillary have had problems with Spitzer since, among the many folks he prosecuted were big donors and fund raisers for Chuck and Hillary.
Since then, he has been shaking them down for donations, which is problematic as Chuck needs the same donors since he is chairman of the democratic senatorial committe, and they are tapping out a donor base that Hillary Clinton is going to need.
Also note, none of these folks like anybody who is running for AG.
I'm still waiting for someone to get to the bottom of why Spitzer kept Dietrich Snell from testifying before Curt Weldon's committee. Inquiring minds want to know...

This putz, if you can believe it about 4 months ago ran right in front of my cab and I almost hit him, and he just looked at me and gave me this look of contempt and decided to keep JAYWALKING across the street. He was on 79th near 5th and decided to just run out into oncoming traffic like dogs, drug addicts, kids and liberals do.... Liberals more often because they feel the world revolves around them. Matter of fact, it was about 50 feet where RINO Bloomberg lives, so he could have been visiting him. And if I hit him, guess who would have been blamed? "Crazed cabbie puts Spitzer in hospital!"
Laws are for the little people.
Yeah, how does that work? She probably has more loot than this hubby number 4. But he cheated so she`ll probably get his loot. Anyway, I give her half a year before she starts with the freakish plastic surgery. "Oh, he left me for the young girls!"
David Stern is such a putz.

He needs to resign. I admire how he brought the league back from the dead in the 1980s, but he's long in the tooth now and is presiding over a league filled with hip-hop thugs.
Actually two years ago I said that Spitzie thinks he'll be Pressy ... but we must agree he is deluded!
