Does Jack Murtha remember hes representing southwestern Pennsylvania not San Francisco? asks opponent Irey
(MONONGAHELA, July 19) Washington County Commissioner and Pennsylvania 12th district Republican Congressional nominee Diana Irey anticipating this afternoons vote on H.R. 2389, the Pledge Protection Act of 2006 today released the following statement:
Does Jack Murtha remember that hes representing southwestern Pennsylvania not San Francisco?
Yesterday Jack Murtha broke faith with the residents of Pennsylvanias 12th Congressional District again! when he voted against a constitutional amendment protecting traditional marriage. Today he has an opportunity to begin to make up for that broken faith, by voting in support of the Pledge Protection Act of 2006, legislation that would amend Federal law to deny jurisdiction to any Federal court, and appellate jurisdiction to the Supreme Court, to rule on cases involving questions about the Pledge of Allegiance or its constitutionality.
I urge Jack Murtha to vote YES in support of the Pledge Protection Act.
But I am troubled because I see that Jack Murtha has already voted against even CONSIDERING this legislation on the floor of the House.
What in the world is he thinking? Is he really SO determined to become Majority Leader that hes willing to ignore the will of his own constituents just to curry favor with the liberal politicians who can help him achieve his own personal political agenda, even at the expense of his constituents?
If Ive said it once, Ive said it a thousand times already in this campaign Jack Murtha has been gone too long, and hes out of touch. He no longer represents the values and ideals of the people of the 12th district, and this vote against traditional marriage is just the latest example. He is far more concerned with ingratiating himself with the only voters he now cares about the House Democratic caucus than he is with us.
There are 111 days left in this campaign. The good news is, thats plenty of time to make sure the voters of the 12th District know just who Jack Murtha really is.

She needs to put up Billboards around the district with the question, "Why do you hate America so much Congressman Murtha?"

It is no surprise to me that Murtha voted against protecting the Pledge of Allegiance.
This man must be retired in November and Diana Irey will accomplish that with the help of the voters of the 12th District.

Murtha, along with his anti-American, anti-Constitutional communist accomplices, continue to VOTE AGAINST AMERICA. What filth these maggots have become/are...what rock did they crawl out from under? If they are so disgusted with America, then WHY DON'T THEY LEAVE?? I will be the first to make a serious donation to pay for their ejection costs.

1st Amendment:
Congress shall pass no law to establish a religion, or limit the free exercise thereof
Congress can not pass a law that tells you and me which church or religion to believe in; and Congress can not limit the free exercise of Religion (unless the religion tells you to harm another). Meaning, if Congress said you can not say God then they would be passing a law that limits the free exercise of religion. Saying God or putting religious symbols on Public property does not establish a religion. It takes a law from Congress to do that. And Congress should never pass a law that stops people from expressing themselves. That to me is unconstitutional.
Hack Murtha and the rest of the Demoratic Party are Commie pimps.

I feel confident most of us were not surprised by his vote. He is not fit to represent the good people of Pennsylvania.
