I truly believe that embryonic stem cell research is a regrettable lesser of two evils. What you would characterize as saving lives I view as utilizing a new creation that would otherwise be thrown away in the garbage. Hey I am pro-life. I don't even qualify if the mother has been raped or it is incest ( is that the child's fault ?!). I think the competing considerations here are just too great . I respect your views but i think there needs to be a time where one has to be pragmatic especially since the embryos are being thrown in the trash anyway.

Straw dog argument.

The babies in the White House today were frozen embryos. There is no need to 'throw away in the garbage' these precious babies. There is a shortage of adoptable babies. All it will take is for more people to understand what's going on.

But as long as we have a leftist media, it's hard to get the word out.

You must be kidding?? Embryonic stem cells have caused more harm than good. It was a brain tumor from this treatment that killed Christopher Reeve.
This so-called curative threatment is years and years and millions of embryo testing to prove helpful. To farm out embryos by women to experiment with is ghastly. Adult stem cells have PROVEN to show huge advances in curative potential and this is where the "experiments" should be invested...NOT by creating life to destroy it in the hopes of something that may perhaps someday show an incling of a potential.
There is a reason ESC have not worked and I believe it is Devine intention.
