What is the purpose of using human embryonic cells in research? For animal trials to be meaningful, it would be necessary to validate protocols using animal stem cells. And using human trials before animal trials have validated the protocls would clearly be immoral (though I recall embryonic stem cells have already been transplanted into people, with disastrous results).
Embryonic stem cell "researchers" are charlatans. Why should the government invest in snake oil?

Mary Visits Elizabeth

Mary had just agreed to bear the Lord as a baby. She traveled to Elizabeth, who was 6 months pregnant with John the Baptist. Elizabeth, by divine inspiration, recognized Mary was carrying Jesus, who had just been conceived.
Jesus, although a blastoid or zygote at the time, was recognized by the Holy Spirit as Lord.
