I don't understand these idiots. Bush worked his butt off for people like Thune and Spector in 2004 and then they turn around and give him the finger.

Memo to the WH: The "new tone" didn't work with the Rats and now it has failed with your own party. Time to say all bets off and fight fire with fire in your own party.

Really. And he hasn't even been there for a full term. Guess I should look at the bright side - we got rid of little Tommy which was the main reason I sent $$ to Thune campaign. I know that Thune kicked up fuss about base closings but figured that was to be expected. But I sure didn't bargain for this - especially concerning the Iraq war. He's nothing but a politician and that's about as low as I can call someone.
