My daughter left for Navy boot camp yestrday. She was at the airport in New Orleans when she called me for the last time for a few weeks. A guy at the bar heard her tell me that she was now the property of Uncle Sam and he yelled "buy this girl a beer!!!!" It was a great feeling for her and me. (of course she couldn't drink it)
You won't hear from her for a while now. Be strong, boot camp will end and she will come out OK. Best wishes to you and your daughter.
