Guess where the votes are, it sure isn't with the few paying the top end tax rates.

Yes, this is what Washington has degenerated into. That is why the voters must clean it out and redefine America as the founders meant it to be.

That is why the voters must clean it out and redefine America as the founders meant it to be.

And you accomplish this how with a solid majority of voters believing they are on the receiving end of the largess of their Congress Critters?

After all the game in Washington is measured by votes cast to return incumbants to office, and buying votes from their constitutents is the bottomline game.

From the voting records most voters seem to be happy voting for Congress Critters who bring home the gravy and make sure they continue to think they pay nil in taxes. Gotta make sure all them poor folks keep getting tax cuts you know, even when the don't pay income taxes then make sure they get credits besides. Yep them voters are really going to clean out the incumbents and redefing America as the founders meant it to be.

Wake up friend, the change needs to open the eyes of that voter first, the rest then comes naturally.

We wonder why over 60% of the voters PERCEIVE no problem with the taxrates and vote for polidiots that promise to bring home the most bacon because they believe they are the ones that benefit from higher taxes with more spending on socialistic "gimme" programs. As this continues under Bush or anyone else for that matter, expect a liberal tax and waste congress for many years to come.

We are all paying through the nose, rich and poor while politicians play the tune of envy and resentment that Americans continue to respond to not understanding the full picture what is happening to them. The NRST is a means to open VOTERS eyes to the reality.

Alan Keyes hammers the nail on the head:

I discussed the importance of abolishing the income tax because of its tendency to form a habit of servility in the souls of a people that accepts it.

Servility of soul is bad not only in itself, it is also an open door through which will soon walk the abuses of ambitious government power.

Leaders who find themselves with governmental power over a servile people will be quick to conclude that such a people exist to serve them.

The Intent of the individual income tax is for political and social control not revenue collection. The Individual Income tax is maintained to establish and hold every person in the country perpetual legal jeopardy. That is a situation that must end with the repeal of the income tax from the statutes, and the prohibition of its use by Constitutional amendment that future generations will not face the same manner of manipulation and interference in their lives.

If we expect to see control of government spending, we had best look to make the burden visible to the whole of the electorate, not just the few designated as the token guy behind the tree.

That my friend is one of the bottomline purposes of going to the NRST, make the cost of largess perceptible to the entire electorate, even the lowest most rungs of the economic ladder.
