Awesome. I'll never stay there again, even after I quit smoking.
No more of my money goes to any of these lifestyle police. If you smoke, consider doing the same. They have publically stated that they consider you a second class citizen and don't want your money. Let's see them do without 23% of the population.
I will stay there. In fact, I stay exclusively @ Marriott hotels. It's rare, but there have been times where a smoker is in the elevator while lit up which stinks the whole thing up. This will make the hotel chain that I stay at 100% smoke free air.
While I support smokers' rights, I have greater support for private industry making the decisions they choose to implement for their business.
Marriott will continue to get 100% of my business when I travel for work (125 nights in Marriott in 2005 and on track for 110 nights this year).
