Will this also apply to their restaurants and bars? Wal Street Journal Report this morning said, yes it will. Management was dealing with customer complaints of lingering smoke odor, so smoking is not permitted in any of their venues, rooms, bars or restaurants. At least they are honest enough to say it was the smell bothering people and not some trumped up second hand smoke health arguement.

I don't stay in smoking rooms but if we can't even have a cigarette with a cocktail at the bar then the Marriott's going to be out which is a damn shame because they have the best beds in the entire world.
