Yes, I for one, have been known to come down with a nasty sinus infections if go into a place where scented candles are burning, or someone is wearing perfume. Im also allergic to fabric softner...makes me itch terribly and have even got hives from it.
I happen to like the smell of tobacco though...different strokes for different folks.

Scented candles are the worst--I really despise those things.

I actually don't have a big allergy problem with tobacco smoke in limited quantities. I don't like the smell of cigarettes, but good cigar or pipe smoke can have quite a pleasant odor (much better than scented candles).
