I think the polite thing for you to do is to stay the hell out of smoking permitted establishments or where owners permit smokers to gather.

Do you really want non-smokers to do this? If a large number did, it wouldn't be long before most business owners decided to ban smoking on their properties.

I want antismokers (which are very different from nonsmokers) to stay away from smoking permitted establishments if they do not wish to be around smoke. It's just like the decision I make to avoid certain establishments where the prices are too high, or the decision I make to not go to a Chinese restaurant if I want to eat filet mignon. It's called freedom of choice...It's a real simple concept.
