You are wrong. Smokers no longer smoke in public buildings and many private office buildings have "no smoking" policies as well. Smokers have complied and do not light up wherever they choose. But that's not enough for the anti-smoking Fascists. They want laws prohibiting smoking on private property! Wield the mighty power of Government to FORCE compliance under the threat of violence! It is THAT attitude (typically held by Liberals) that is the downfall of smokers.
None of them have done this voluntarily. I have yet to run into a smoker other than a cigar or pipe smoker that asked those around them if it was okay to smoke. Upon seeing no "no smoking sign", they light up with no regard to those around them. The surprise is they are upset when nonsmokers find ways to get more no smoking signs posted.
