Don't be so modest. You are right on the money. This plays into the situation very strongly but in the background.

Thanks, and if that's the case, I'm thrilled the report was wrong. The Fox reporter specifially said Patriot missiles were outdated to successfully intercept the current class of missiles. I guess the reporter had a little touch of 'Geraldo'itis.

No, he is not. If they had them, they would have used them by now

The other possibility of course is that he is just NOW getting them. Just guessing.

Why is the idea so far fetched? What if they have an Islamic Bomb from Pakistan? Remember, Iran-Pakistan-SouthKorea were all involved in that.

Titular means title.
Ahmadi-Nejad means Ahmadinejad
El Presidente of Iran

It certainly explains the lack of Sunni support for the two H's.

Just out of curiosity, I am not Muslim and therefore have trouble comprehending some of their, well actually many of their positions. Could the Shiites look at this as some kind of sacrifice ?

sorry to say that I think the US response to an iranian nuke attack will be whistling, shuffling feet, and looking the other way

To raise the Mahdi, Babylon must have 'fire in its sky' and the Jews must be under attack. At that point the real Mahdi arrives. My guess is Iran will attack the U.S. with everything it has. Syria will attack Israel with everything it has. Just guessing at this point. Not seeing any classified Intel.

Dude, at this point it is best to assume it is all a dream. This really cannot be happening. That is the only way I can deal with it. Think of it as an old INFOCOM adventure game.

Ahmadi-Nejad is President of Iran. Previously that position had no power except as granted by "ayatollah" Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Ruler. The first thing AhamdiNejad did after being "selected" into this position with the backing of Khamenei, who later regreted his actions, was to fill every position in goernment, whether at the national, regional, of provincial elve - down to lower positions with his IRGC colleagues. they now literally control everyone and everything but have stopped short of removing Khamenei. Though this is likely when they elect the new Council of Experts in November, which then appoints the Supreme Leader. Looney Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi is vying for the position and as Ahmadi Nejad's mentor and spiritual guide will probably manage to get the top postion. If that happen s all the old guard Mullahs will find theselves remoned from their current position and in prison.

Way past my bed time so forgive the uncorrected spelling.

If you wnt to get a good grounding on this subject and related ones go to www.antimullah.com and click on the link in the left hand column titled View Archive Details. It was a company that made classic all text (imagine that) adventure games from the 1980s. You "moved" around the environment by entering text commands and you could communicate with other characters (primitive artificial intelligence). I sometimes wish someone would come out with something like these again. You used your imagination; similar to reading a book. No need for 3d graphics.
