Well, as you may know, CA is unable to build any new powerplants within the state. It's the old "not in my back yard" story.
Yeah, but couldn't they have some sort of backup generator for essential stuff? Hospitals generally do, I believe. What if ATC went out while they were bringing planes in for a landing?
