I don't think we should be calling him names based on this considering his service as a Green Beret.

First of all he was an officer. I don't much like officers. Officers get medals if they make it through the chow line. He was a Major. That means he got promoted 3 times. I was a SGT, that means I got 4 promotions. I guess that makes me more of an expert on this.

Major Bob is an arrogant twerp that is worried about his little business.

Your comments about officers are a bit self-centered and bitter. There are plenty of good officers who take as many risks and work as hard as their enlisted troops. Then again I knew plenty who rose in rank because of who they knew and who they blew. Based on your arithmetic I was promoted 4 times to the rank of Sgt (USMC) and 3 times to the rank of major (AF) for a total of 7 promotions. Does that make me almost twice the expert you are? The guy is a twit and he would be just as big a twit if he were a retired SgtMaj as he is as a retired Maj.
