LIVINGSTON, Texas -- Every day, Norma LaHood and her husband pass the spot where 10 years ago their son was gunned down.
It's the driveway outside their San Antonio home.
"It was our choice," LaHood says of the couple's decision to continue living at their home following their 25-year-old son's death. "My husband said they will not chase me out of my home. My son loved his home."

I am glad Texas is executing these monsters but I think it is still taking to long for the state to get through the process.

As you can see I already replied that my post was a mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at the bottom to see the post numbers. No of course I don't think its a joke. There was a thread pulled so of course it doesn't make sense. As you can see I requested the mods pull my post.

You're such a kidder!
(I was reading that chicken thread...it got pulled, don't know why. I was enjoying it, since I used to be a chicken owner. Neighbor dog here in the south tulsa area crawled under my fence and killed 'em. Even my sweet Benny Hen.)

He should have gotten some leniency for sparing society the burden of another lawyer.

Dang! Do we have the Moderator set on extra sensitive tonight, or do we have too many Scots Irish Freepers being "overserved" already this evening?
Let's hear it for Texas Justice! No matter how many potheads they bust, ruining the heads' lives and clogging the legal system, frying murderers who deserve it is something they do well and serves to the benefit of society at large.
If the feds would just pay a bounty of about $500 a head to local law enforcement agencies for every illegal alien they arrest (of course this would require ICE and DHS to get off their dead posteriors and on their dying feet and actually do something), and deport the illegal to Chiapas after a few weeks at Parris Island, equipped with a new M16A4/M203 combo and plenty of ammo, Mexico would even help on border control and there would be far fewer idiots like the perp in this story in the country.

Did any of you see the last paragraph at the source. I can't wait for this monster to die on Thursday.
On Thursday, Robert Anderson, 40, was set to die for the 1993 slaying of a 5-year-old Amarillo girl who was abducted, raped, beaten, choked and strangled before her body was stuffed into a cooler and thrown into a garbage container.

I wasn't able to find a picture of the victim, Michael LaHood Jr. . All too often, the victims are forgotten and the killers garner all the attention.

Robert Anderson was convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering five-year-old Audra Anne Reeves in Amarillo on June 9, 1992. Neighbors of Reeves saw a man pushing a grocery cart, which contained a large Styrofoam cooler. Later that day one of the neighbors found the same cooler in a nearby dumpster. Upon opening the chest the man discovered the body of Reeves inside. After giving the description of the man pushing the grocery cart to police, Anderson, who fit the description of the subject, was picked up several blocks away. The neighbor made a positive identification and Anderson was placed under arrest. While under interrogation at the police station Anderson nearly immediately confessed to the murder. Though Anderson had a history of sexual assault and undoubtedly committed the murder for which he was convicted, he does not deserve the sentence of death.
The sweltering arrogance of liberals. They even setup an automated email to the Governor.
