I don't think Jason Wolfe is gay...at least as far as I know.
A quick websearch turned up this bit by liberal blogger/
Boston Phoenix writer Dan Kennedy: "Wolfe helped turn WEEI (sister station) into a huge success by encouraging a crude, locker-room approach that often veers into homophobia. "

Wolfe is now in charge of both WEEI and WRKO; the addition of the Red Sox to WRKO next year (some games will still air on
WEEI) and the conversion of "Taste of Boston" into a more
political show (Todd Feinburg) are two indications of Wolfe's
work, perhaps.

Thanks. My only connexion to RKO is as a listener. I don't go in for sports much any more so I never listen to EEI.Probably couldn't find it on the dial. My truck radio is tuned to RKO and BZ for the traffic reports.

The host I'd like to see RKO lose is the evening syndicated talent, Michael Savage. Listening to a dull mind rant gets old in about two minutes. But I'm sure he will stay because he costs next to nothing.

hello!
Good to see you around the FR ' dial '. I read that the " Taste of Boston " was pulled because it could not pay its bills. Remember, it was a pay for play program and paid WRKO for the time slot.
I can not tell you how happy I am that program is gone. But WRKO in general has gone so far down hill I usually just listen to Howie Carr and Rush.
When Howie was on vacation Colonel David Hunt filled in for him and was a huge hit. The guy needs his own radio show. You may have seen him on Fox news from time to time.
