Ma'an: Nasrallah Will Give Tel Aviv Residents One Hour to Flee
IsraelNationalNews ^ | Jul 19, '06 | Nissan Ratzlav-Katz

Posted on 07/18/2006 4:32:48 PM PDT by Adam-ondi-Ahman

The unnamed sources are quoted by the Palestinian Authority-based news agency Ma'an as saying:

"The Lebanese resistance is preparing a retaliation parallel to Israel's military actions. Hassan Nasrallah will address the people of Tel Aviv and warn them to evacuate the city within one hour. As soon as the delay ends, hundreds of heavy missiles will start landing in the city, which has been divided into squares in order to let damage reach every inch of the city. An estimated 500 missiles are expected to land in Tel Aviv in a short period of time."

The Arab sources further said that the Hizbullah has been very careful in cultivating its public image, in order to increase the surprise effect of the planned barrage on Tel Aviv.

The war, from the perspective of Nasrallah, has not yet begun, the sources said, adding that other "surprises" planned by the Hizbullah include more kidnappings of Israeli soldiers from along the Lebanese border.

Also claiming to have "surprises" in store for Israel is the Gaza-based Islamic Jihad. On Tuesday night, the terrorist organization claimed to have fired a Katyusha rocket at Sderot. The Katyusha is a more deadly rocket than the Kassam, and is being deployed against Israel in the north of the country by the Hizbullah.

I am surprised by the weakness of the Israeli offensive thus far. Have they underestimated this enemy? Or are they trying to keep Egypt and Jordan on the fence and protect the US exposed position in Iraq?

Would you send your boots into ground zero pre or post?

He's bluffing. Yes, Hezbollah has Iranian-built missiles that are capable of reaching Tel Aviv (one of which was literally blown off its truck near the Syrian-Lebanese border yesterday, courtesy of the IAF) from southern Lebanon, and they carry around a thousand-pound warhead. But they don't have 500 of them.

They may--MAY--be able to put a few missiles into the Tel Aviv metro area. They almost certainly have that capability. I'm not sure that even Hezbollah is that stupid, though. If they do, they've truly let slip the dogs of war, and the IDF's got the Rottweilers. In that case, I don't think Israel will have a choice but to go in on the ground and destroy Hezbollah utterly...they can't establish a "demilitarized" or security zone in south Lebanon big enough to protect themselves from a guided missile with 100+ km of range.

Here's the question I have. In the past, Hezbollah have looked like a Toyota pickup with a Ma Deuce in the back was the height of their sophistication. But now, we're seeing that these guys have some fairly advanced weaponry. The Zelzal-2 is a guided missile, a lot more sophisticated than the truck-mounted Katyushas that they lob into north Israel by the ton. That C-802 missile that damaged the Israeli gunboat is a VERY sophisticated sea-skimming cruise missile.

Are these idiots actually capable of the care and feeding of those weapons systems? Or are there Syrian and Iranian *military* in there doing the heavy lifting while the Hezbollahtards just stand around and scream "Allahu akbar?"

Ridiculous. The bozo's can't find their asses with both hands.

Maybe. I wouldn't want to base a defensive strategy on the theory that they're too stupid to pose a serious threat.

The sad part is that is what Nasrallah wants. He wants to meet Allah. We Americans need to wake up and understand that Israel is fighting for America and what we stand far " Liberty, Justice and Peace" God Bless Israel. And now lets kick some Raghead's butts.

I proudly gave a donation today to AIPAC which works hard on Israel's image in the US.

While I don't believe this will happen for one minute, if it did happen, needless to say, I think it might make even the pussy Olmert take some REAL serious actions instead of this pansy crap he is pulling now.

Where did you get this quote? I didn't see it in the article.

As much as I support Israel and detest Islomofacists this is not a "popcorn" moment. War is not a game nor is it a spectator sport.

I think it's a pretty good bet Iran's behind it. Do you think they've got enough nuclear material already processed to make one or more dirty bombs?

Regardless of what assets Hezbollah may or may not have, Israel has proven to the world that they have the moral upper hand here. Yes; there is still plenty of anti-Israeli feeling out there, but the sum total opinion of just about everyone who matters is that Israel is being given the go-ahead to at least take Hezbollah down a notch -- the U.S. would actually like to see them taken out -- and as long as Hezbollah can prove they actually do have some real capability, that consensus of opinion is not going to change. Israel is very well advised to simply use their air power and try to force Hezbollah to expend its assets. What happens when Hezbollah's supply of missiles runs out? All they will have left is ground troops and they will have to bring those out into the open. That is when the Israelis should strike, when Hezbollah has nothing left but troops carrying rifles and then Israeli superiority in arms can be brought to much more telling effect.

Who cares what they say, or what they do? Just kill the bastards, as hard and as fast as possible. No talking, no press releases, no chest thumping. Act, don't talk.

Israel can take off the gloves now.

Also of note is that August 22 of this year corresponds with the Islamic date of Rajab 28, the day Saladin conquered and entered Jerusalem.

Interesting. For you obscure Catholics who like old prophecies. A small reminder. August 22, 2006 Check your feast day. Never underestimate a Davidic queen mother.

Reporters live for the sh!t. It can make them a 'star', time for a Pulitzer, etc. Only little boys and idiots like war. A soldiers true mission and prayer is that he never has to do his job for real. I know, been there, done that.

Do I think this one was inevitable and is now absolutely necessary? YES! UNEQUIVOCALLY, YES! Doesn't mean it's fun, good people die, we all mourn.
