"Lebanon would be the perfect retirement spot for me."

When the artillery and bombs start to fall on your Hezbollah occupied paradise, I have a strange feeling you'd consider relocating.

"Think of all the American citizens who live in places other than the United States. There are tons of them. Ask yourself why you are targeting only Americans who live in Lebanon."

Let's see... perhaps it's due to the fact that it's an Islamofascist stronghold with ties to Syria and Iran? I bet that before Israel was forced to defend itself and take the fight to Hezbollah, you couldn't drag any of those American citizens away from Lebanon. Now they expect an immediate rescue, all on the American taxpayer's dime, of course.

I was describing Lebanon without war. It would me nice to read the WHOLE message before answering out of context. Also, as I mentioned before, most American citizens are on vacation there as they have a lot of family back in Lebanon. Most of the population is not Hezbollah and most tourists don't even see them as they live in their own area. The best analogy to allow you to understand is this: Why do people live within close range of volcanos? Why do people live in California (despite everybody expecting "The BIG One") or Florida (hurricanes)? The answer is they are such wonderful places during the calm that most people don't think that they'll be there when bad things do happen. Even though bad things are expected to happen in the areas mentioned in my analogy, we as Americans still help evacuate people, we still declare areas to be disaster areas, and we do help our fellow citizens get back on their feet. This situation is no different.
