I know so many fellow Jews who simply do not trust the right, despite a clear alignment of values with those of faith. However, in this last election we had a Muslim Liberal candidate in our riding. It's the first time the congregation in the "candidate interview process" clearly came out to support the Conservatives. I'm very proud of their decision and my vote (alas, the Liberal bugger got in, but with some consolation it wasn't the America-bashing Carolyn Parrish who he replaced.)

By the grace of God, Canada may actually start getting things turned around up there. They're starting to look less and less like a French colony. Nothing personal, just haven't been a big fan of the Canadian government until Harper came to town.
