Pat "Lindbergh" Buchanan. Remember, after 9/11 there is no hiding. As for collapsing strategy, I don't see it. We can offer complete air coverage to the Lebonese if they will root out Hizbollah, or we can root out Hizbollah, or Isral can root out Hizbollah. I like the idea of capturing the missiles and giving them to Israe. My favorite option is Isreal attacks Damascus, with the intent of creating bases to launch attacks on Iran.

I have not noticed this Bush policy any different then Nixon's and every administration in between. Why we get involved and send billions of our tax dollars to the area is simply beyond me.

When Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert unleashed his navy and air force on Lebanon, accusing that tiny nation of an "act of war," the last pillar of Bush's Middle East policy collapsed. So Bush's Middle East policy was meant to protect terorists in Lebanon?
Buchanan is one of the most dishonest commentators around. He is an anti-semite lover of Father Coughlin who can't admit his true feelings. In this one sentence, he completely distorts the situation, somehow "forgetting" WHY Israel attacked the terrorists working out of Lebanon.
In other words, shut up, you bigoted moron.
