You really don't want to get me started about our wonderful "ally" Mr. de VILLEpin. He was the Foreign Minister of France during the start of the Iraq war, and is a true cheese-eating appeasement monkey. I must have missed it when he got a promotion. Not that I'd really want to have known, though.

The book Treachery by Bill Gertz details how France has absolutely undermined the US and sold illegal equipment to Iraq for years.
