but attacking Syria first only weakens thier political postion worldwide...
Israel is being hit with hundreds of rockets a day (after Israel shut down 25 jewish settlements) and the United States reminds ISRAEL of RESTRAINT.
I don't think Israel should worry about their political position worldwide. It didn't help in the 1940s it won't help now.
