Around the time of 9/11, our 2 year old Trane a/c died. It took a few days to get it fixed -- the repairman was here while the Towers were being attacked and I made him come inside and watch because he was missing history.
The only way I could sleep was to go to bed with wet hair and a wet tee shirt and a fan.
