Savage and Newt both have the same problem. It's called the foot in mouth disease. Both Savage and Newt can be brilliant about 80% of the time. But, it's that other 20% that just leaves you shaking your head over and over, why did he say that over and over.

Savage is a good host it's just that he gets too wacky too often. Plus he talks bad about other hosts, a real no-no in the biz.

I've never liked his demeaning Rush, Hannity and even BOR, like I said: when he takes his meds. There is a fine line between brillance and insanity and he walks that line pretty tight sometimes, but when he is in a sane phase, there is no one that can give you a history of the world, especially the crusade, like Savage.
