Even more than that, though. Iran would be targeted for regime change. AmanAnAsshole would realize that his 12th Imam wouldn't even save him.

Bush is using Israel to kick Iran in this situation, nothing more.
The US has it's own agenda. It just so happens it's also in Israels interest.

The fact that they exist is all the reason we need, we're just waiting for the right time.
We should Stealth bomb Syria's SAM sites just to give the IAF the upper hand.

Good point. Iran wants this battle to stop before they are drawn in too deep. The Iranians would prefer to be nuclear armed before they confront Israel head on.
This is a golden opportunity to hit the Iranian's before they go nuclear.
