"Step into my parlor," said the spider to the fly.
That was PRECISELY my thought when I read the headline.
Well you can look at it two ways:
1. They're looking for hostages on the cheap.
2. They are looking for any possible way to tell the US that they are nice guys and don't want to fight.
I guess the downside risk that 1 is the answer would be enough to discourage most flys and certainly any American with half a brain. So the comment that Dems should take them up on the offer does make a lot of sense.
