Man, the Dems just make it too easy. They are so wedded to their warped notions of diversity that they will fight for them even when it dooms their chances at the polls.

How can anyone be proud of championing a cause that has, at its roots, a plea for sympathy rather than a call to celebration?
We already know on "sound bite" of the homosexuals.
They don't call it homosexual marrigage, they call it the "right to marry the one you looooooove"
Which is utter BS since NOT A SINGLE LAW puts a "love test" on marriage OR divorce.
This is all about spin and does nothing to change the fact that homsoexuals seek to have the government sanction a person obtaining sexual gratification from playing with the genitals of a member of the same sex.
I have successfully counted with "it prevents ALL alternative lifestyle marriages." Marriage amendments DEFINE marriage, they don't say ANYTHING about homosexuals.
A "five point plan"? An inverted bar stool and a pool cue?
Interesting that they admit that the label needs to be artificially placed there, which seems to be an admission that they really are not intended to be 'divisive'. When even your talking points admit that you're using spin and propaganda, you're in real trouble.
2. Training state party operatives in all 50 states on how to campaign against anti-gay ballot measures.
They really use the word 'operatives'? Maybe that gives them a sense of importance, but to middle America, I think it carries a sinister undertone.
3. 'Develop strategy and talking points on the anti-gay ballot measure issue.
Our strategy is to develop a strategy. Brilliant!
4. Work cooperatively with campaign organizations fighting the ballot measures in each state.
Did it take them a while to actually come up with "ally with like-minded groups"?
5. Empower and organize homosexual communities nationwide through the DNCs homosexual outreach coordinator.
Interesting that they fail to state how they will actually do this.

Given that there are few,if any, states that are more liberal than this one, efforts by the left would have to employ blackmail, intimidation and other dirty tricks.
Interesting that they fail to state how they will actually do this.
I think that when they say "outreach",they're talking about what happens in your typical homosexual bath house.
Isn't this the crux of the (now) eternal battle?
Family = One man, one woman and the possibility, however remote, of producing real, human children".
No amount of rhetoric, no laws can ever overcome that biological and cultural reality.
5-point plan or 5000, doesn't matter. Five laws or 5000, doesn't matter.
I almost read that as a "five-year plan," Soviet-style!
I was in Pittsburgh last week and saw a large banner on a large church. The sign read:
"Civil marriage is a civil right"
I was confused that such a message was hanging on a church, until I noticed the background was in rainbow colors. The confusion was intended.
LOL
intersting, it does point to the second phase of the homosexual marrige fight. Homosexuals wish to OUTLAW all commonl law based marriages to ONLY those which are statutory creations.
This means the government has total control over definitions and no longer can anyone look to common law history for marraige. ONly the legislature and the courts.
Yuck!

Thank you for the ping.
