Both the Corolla and the Camry have gotten larger overall while their MPG figures don't seem to have suffered proportionately; people really aren't fond of small cars.

Here are the top selling cars for may of 2006. Chevy has 2 in there but you have to remember they sell a lot of FLEET cars. Toyota also sell into fleet. Honda has a minute % that goes into fleet and they tend to steer clear of fleet sales as it hurts resale value and diminishes the brand.
