He was too old. He was too conservative. He was too scary.

Those were media positions. RR was immensely popular with the people however. Hillary's in the opposite position: the MSM loves her but the people hate her. Call me when the MSM gets the majority of the Electoral College.

...when the MSM gets the majority of the Electoral College.

Now there's a scary thought.

You've got it. I fell in love with RR during those dark years after he missed the nomination by a whisker over the incompetent Gerald Ford. His radio program came on during the drive from college classes to night shift work.

I started one job at 8 a.m., drove to campus, attended classes from 2 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and then rushed off to my night job from 6 p.m. til midnight.

It was about 5:45 p.m. that his radio show came on for 10 or 15 minutes.

He made perfect sense and his voice conveyed optimism in a time of double digit inflation, interest and unemployment rates which gave one little reason for optimism.

Actually..you realize it has now been 30 years since the last time a dem got the majority in the popular vote..(carter 76)..I realize you don't need the popular vote to be President..but it does tell you something..
