Just when I thought you had reached the maximum level of nonsense you top yourself with that bit of strategic "genius".

So you are clueless as well as to the need for Muslim allies in Iraq and Afganistan.

Hey, if I thought we had the time, I'd be all for playing poker with Islam, but now its time to .... play WAR.

Not quite yet.

This is rat-killing. Clever comes first. Herding and cornering the rats. Kill 'em later.

But I agree with you, the little SOB's are trying to get their hands on the Paki arsenal, or ex-Soviet weapons, and go nuclear on us, and we can't be dicking around with open borders and business-as-usual at home any more if we don't want to lose a city. Which is becoming increasingly likely.

But don't hand them any allies they didn't have to work for. And remember that in the first place, all these terrorist heroes have sponsors. We'll have to deal with the Saudi sponsors eventually, but right now we can isolate the Iranians and the Syrians like we did Saddam and the Taliban, and go after them. I think that's exactly what is going on via the nuclear diplomacy vis-a-vis Tehran.

Keep in mind that the Iranians have active political relations with the North Koreans, too, and reflect on whether Chia Head's donging around with missiles, which came out of nowhere, isn't a grand-strategic move supporting the Iranian mullahs and their silent partners in Peking.

Our enemies are clustered around two poles -- Tehran and Peking. Remember where all the technology came from that we're worried about: the Koreans and Pakis got their nuclear technology from Peking (who got theirs from Wen Ho Lee and Bill Clinton, but that's another issue).

But it's Tehran we're squeezing now, so let's follow through and do it smart and do it right, and remember that declining to be a recruiting poster for the enemy is always a smart move. Don't hack off more Arabs that you absolutely, positively have to, while you remove the mullahs' hands and testicles -- and then their heads.

Letting Israel handle Hamas and Hisbollah for now is a smart play. We're after bigger rats.

Why don't you wander on down to the corner store and find some homies to insult? I'm sure they'll appreciate the exercise.

No clueless about islamofascism at all. No. Absolutely. Under no illusions, whatsover.

I trust you were being sarcastic.

If not, next question?

They now need to go TIT x 10000000 for tat.

I agree. That neighborhood requires it, because if you don't you cease to exist. It ain't Kansas.

You perhaps have no exposure to my views of Islam so your confusion is plausible. I view it as an absolute scourge for the world and as having never been anything but. That should always be kept in mind for a strategic perspective. This does not mean the US cannot take advantage of its schisms to use against it.

RIGHT NOW not all Moslems support al Queda's philosophy of war. Like the Christian religion many adherents were born into the religion and its culture they take its precepts with a grain of salt and just live their daily lives without much thought about religion. Automaton-like they go through the rituals. This is a good thing since the better a Moslem one is the worse a person one is which is the reverse of Christianity wherein the better a Christian one is the better a person.

Hence it is a tactical necessity to speak to the public of the "peaceful" nature of the religion because we simply cannot fight it alone as a religious war. We cannot afford to alienate allies and potential allies with inflammatory rhetoric no matter how appealing the idea is.

Our soldiers do not need to have their missions made more difficult by unnecessarily inflaming the masses in Iraq and Afghanistan through gratuitous attacks upon their religion. It is just plain stupidity.

I go along with your theory (stated quite well in fact).

I just cannot accept the praxis. Sorry.

Well will have to agree to disagree on this one, and part friendly-like here. Thanks!
