Great post! Scumbags usually do tend to breed scumbags.
Some dying, dinosaur network newsroom is the perfect place for Mark Halperin.
He can't get into too much mischief there.
IIRC, G. Gordon Liddy used to refer to Halperin as "the odiuos Morton Halperin."
And John Dean:

Mispelled. Leave out the "t" in morton.
That is the REAL threat. If average American's civil liberties were being threatened, the ACLU would be all over that.
Off topic: Mark, you need to make sure someone at Newsbusters gets their hands on David Wright's report at the top of tonight's ABC World News Tonight. It was so amazingly biased against Israel and the US (he actually found a woman who was screaming into the camera something along the lines of "I blame you, Bush!"), that it needs to be Fisked line by line.
Sounds like Mark needed an excuse so he made that up. It sounds prettystupid, but you have to realize that the people he's speaking to buy into the "non judgemental", "all equally good" nonsense. If it's all equally good, why doesn't ABC News have better ratings? Sounds like
Fisked?
CAP is run by some Clintonoid with a bad haircut.
CAP's first choice was Vladimir Lenin, but they couldn't figure out how to keep Vlad from defrosting on the plane ride from Moscow...
From http://catb.org/~esr/jargon/html/F/fisking.html:
fisking: n. [blogosphere; very common] A point-by-point refutation of a blog entry or (especially) news story. A really stylish fisking is witty, logical, sarcastic and ruthlessly factual; flaming or handwaving is considered poor form. Named after Robert Fisk, a British journalist who was a frequent (and deserving) early target of such treatment.
superb background, GL. thanks.

My pleasure, Paul. I have to admit to being unaware of the Halperin/Halperin connection till I did a little Googling for purposes of this item.
"Seems that the apple hasn't fallen fall from the tree."
In this case, I think it was a nut tree......
